One such example are these 2-Way 8-ohm Active Wall Mount Speakers from Monoprice! These high-quality active speakers are powered by a 30 watt/channel (25 watts/channel RMS) amplifier. The amplifier features a signal to noise ratio of 95dB, with 75dB of channel separation. The amplifier includes over temperature, over load, short circuit, and clipping protection circuits, ensuring that they will survive misconnections or excessive volume levels. The speakers have a 20 Hz to 20 KHz (+/- 0.5dB) frequency response range and a total harmonic distortion of 0.05% across the frequency spectrum. The speakers have treble and bass adjustment knobs, each with a +/- 10dB range of effectiveness.
